With a population of approximately 12,900 residents, Ridgefield Park is a village located in northeastern Bergen County, New Jersey. Out of over 550 municipalities in New Jersey, Ridgefield Park is one of only four villages in the state, joining Loch Arbour, Ridgewood and South Orange. The village offers numerous parks and recreation programs, a strong school system and a convenient location, making it a popular choice for people looking for real estate in Bergen County.

The village of Ridgefield Park offers over eleven public parks, with many offering picnic areas, playgrounds, ball fields, gardens and tennis and basketball courts. In addition to year-round recreation programs, residents also enjoy a community pool, a canoe club and numerous festivals, including one of the country’s longest continuous Fourth of July parades.

The Ridgefield Park Public School District serves students in kindergarten through twelfth grades. Students in kindergarten through sixth grade attend one of three elementary schools, including Grant School, Lincoln School and Roosevelt School. Students in grades seven through twelve attend Ridgefield Park High School.
