With a population of approximately 8,700 residents, the borough of Park Ridge is located in Bergen County, New Jersey. Park Ridge has a rich and interesting history, a convenient location and an extensive transportation system that takes residents to the rest of New Jersey, New York and beyond. Park Ridge has been home to several notable residents. Former President Richard Nixon lived in the “Bears Nest” townhouse complex in Park Ridge after moving from neighboring Saddle River. James Gandolfini, star of the HBO Television show, The Sopranos, grew up in Park Ridge and attended the borough’s public high school.

The Park Ridge Public School system serves students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. Some students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade attend West Ridge High School. Other students in kindergarten through sixth grade attend East Brook Elementary School. All public school students in grades seven through twelve attend Park Ridge High School.
