Town:Lodi

With a population of nearly 25,000 residents, Lodi is a borough in Bergen County located with an area of 2.3 square miles. The borough was officially formed on October 25, 1894 and was named after the Bridge Lodi in Lombardy, Italy. Today, Lodi is a community that offers its residents a convenient location, a strong school system and family-friendly events throughout the year.

From the annual Christmas tree lighting to the Fourth of July fireworks display to the Columbus Day Parade, residents of all ages to join in on the festivals sponsored by the town each year. Known locally as “a neighborly community”, residents enjoy the borough’s small town feel and sense of community involvement.

The public library sponsors programs for both children and adults, including a book club and English language classes. There is an active local Chamber of Commerce in Lodi that helps promote and grow small businesses and stores, many of which are located along Main Street.

Lodi is conveniently located near major roadways, such as the Garden State Parkway, Route 46 and I80, which makes for easy commuting throughout New Jersey.

The Lodi Public School system serves students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. There are five elementary schools and students in grades six through eight attend the Thomas Jefferson Middle School. High school age students attend Lodi High School. There are also two private schools located in Lodi: High Point School of Bergen County and Immaculate Conception High School.
